Silent Goodbyes (solo euphonium & piano)

Silent Goodbyes was written in 2025 with the world premiere being given at the 2025 International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Valencia, Spain in June 2026. It is a reflective and emotional journey through the quiet, complex moments of loss. Written for euphonium and piano, the piece captures the duality of grief—deep sadness intertwined with tender remembrance. The euphonium’s warm, expressive tone gives voice to unspoken farewells, while the piano echoes memories both fleeting and vivid. Gentle melodies drift between stillness and motion, sorrow and gratitude, portraying the silent spaces left behind and the comforting presence of shared memories. This work speaks to the heart’s quiet resilience, honoring the beauty of what was, even as it lets go. It will be available in early 2026.
